Updating Breaking News: Motorcyclist dies after two-vehicle collision in Manatee County

Troopers from the Florida Highway Patrol responded to a two-vehicle collision yesterday in Manatee County that resulted in the death of a motorcyclist.
According to the FHP report, at approximately 4:38 pm, a 56-year-old Bradenton man riding a motorcycle was traveling east within the driveway access of 3216 1st Street, Bradenton, approaching US 41. At the same time, a 32-year-old Bradenton woman driving a sedan was traveling south on the inside lane of US-41 (1st Street), approaching the same driveway access.
As they approached, the sedan executed a right turn onto US-41 (1st Street), in front of the approaching motorcycle, and they collided.
As a result, the motorcyclist was separated from his vehicle and came to rest on the southbound inside lane of US 41.
He was pronounced deceased on-scene.
The second driver was placed under arrest for operating a motor vehicle without a driver's license and booked into the Manatee County Jail.
The crash remains under investigation.
The FHP did not release the names of the driver or the motorcyclist involved in the collision.
