Updating Breaking News: FHP still looking for a hit-and-run driver involved in a collision with a pedestrian in Pasco County

Troopers from the Florida Highway Patrol are still looking for a hit-and-run driver from an incident that happened last summer.

According to the FHP report, at approximately 11 pm on August 22nd, an unknown vehicle, driven by an unknown driver, was traveling eastbound on County Line Road. 

West of Stetson Drive, a 50-year-old Wesley Chapel woman was walking eastbound in the bicycle lane adjacent to County Line Road. 

The vehicle overtook and collided with the pedestrian, who was propelled to the outside grass shoulder. 

Following the collision, the driver fled the crash scene and has not yet been identified. 

Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call *FHP (*347) or Crime Stoppers at **TIPS. 

The FHP did not release the name of the pedestrian involved in the collision.
