From the Florida Highway Patrol
Yesterday at approximately 1 pm, Troopers from the Florida Highway Patrol attempted to stop a red Dodge Charger for a traffic violation in Collier County. The Dodge fled from the traffic stop.
Several minutes later, the same Dodge Charger rear-ended a Dodge Stratus at 12035 Collier Boulevard, injuring the driver (an 18-year-old female). State Troopers, with assistance from the Collier County Sheriff’s Office, captured both passengers a short time later and booked them into the Collier County Jail for the below listed criminal charges.
