Breaking News Overnight: Single-vehicle collision in Dixie County kills driver

Troopers from the Florida Highway Patrol responded to a single-vehicle collision this morning in Dixie County that resulted in the death of the driver.
According to the FHP report, at approximately 12:59 am, a 37-year-old Columbia man driving a sport utility vehicle was traveling west on NE 910th Ave. The SUV lost control and ran off the road, causing the vehicle to overturn onto the roadway multiple times.
The driver of the vehicle was ejected and pronounced deceased on scene by Dixie County paramedics.
The crash investigation is in preliminary stages and is ongoing.
The FHP did not release the name of the driver.
