Troopers from the Florida Highway Patrol responded to a collision last night in Pasco County that resulted in the death of a pedestrian.
According to the FHP report, at approximately 7:55 p.m., a Harley Davidson motorcycle operated by a 60-year-old Port Richey man was traveling northbound on US-19.
North of Seward Drive, a pedestrian walking eastbound across US-19 entered the path and was struck by the motorcycle.
The pedestrian, a 64-year-old Fort Myers Beach man, suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash.
The motorcyclist and a passenger traveling on the motorcycle, a 41-year-old Port Richey woman, both suffered serious injuries as a result of the crash.
The FHP did not release the names of the motorcyclist, passenger, or pedestrian involved in the collision.
