Troopers from the Florida Highway Patrol responded to a collision this morning in Pasco County that resulted in the death of a motorcyclist and pedestrian.
According to the FHP report, at approximately 12:15 am, a motorcycle, operated by a 25-year-old New Port Richey man, was traveling southbound on Little Road.
North of Embassy Boulevard, an 18-year-old Port Richey man attempted to walk across the roadway. The pedestrian entered the path and was struck by the motorcycle.
Transported to an area hospital, both the motorcyclist and pedestrian later died from injuries suffered during the crash.
The FHP did not release the motorcyclist's name or the name of the pedestrian involved in the collision.
