Troopers from the Florida Highway Patrol responded to a single-vehicle collision last night in Hillsborough County that resulted in a driver suffering serious injuries.
According to the FHP report, at approximately 10:50 pm, a Mercedes GLC300, driven by a 44-year-old Brandon man, was traveling northbound on I-75.
Near Milepost 263, the driver entered a construction work zone and collided with a stationary, unoccupied Ford F350 within the closure.
The driver suffered serious injuries and was transported to an area hospital.
