Troopers from the Florida Highway Patrol responded to a two-vehicle collision last night in Pasco County that resulted in the death of a driver.
According to the FHP report, at approximately 7:44 pm, a Chevy Silverado pickup truck, driven by a 38-year-old San Antonio man, was traveling eastbound on County Line Road.
At the same time, a Toyota Tundra, driven by a 69-year-old Land O Lakes man, was traveling northbound on US-41.
At the intersection of the two roadways, the first vehicle failed to stop for a red traffic signal and collided with the second vehicle.
The pickup truck driver suffered non-life-threatening injuries, while the second driver suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash.
The FHP did not release the names of the drivers involved in the collision.
