Troopers from the Florida Highway Patrol responded to a two-vehicle collision last night in Hillsborough County that resulted in the death of a driver.
According to the FHP report, at approximately 10:00 p.m., a Toyota Camry driven by a 46-year-old Plant City woman was traveling westbound on SR-60.
At the same time, a Jeep Wrangler, driven by a 19-year-old man, was traveling eastbound on SR-60.
At the intersection of Ware Road, the first vehicle turned left into the path and was struck by the second vehicle.
Transported to an area hospital, the first driver later died from injuries suffered during the crash, while the second driver was uninjured.
The FHP did not release the drivers' names involved in the collision.
