Breaking News Overnight: Bicyclist hit and killed by vehicle in Pasco County

Troopers from the Florida Highway Patrol responded to a collision this morning in Pasco County that resulted in the death of a bicyclist.
According to the FHP report, at approximately 12:53 a.m., a Lexus sedan driven by an 18-year-old Hudson man was traveling southbound on Shady Hills Road.
South of Little Ranch Road, the vehicle overtook and collided with a 60-year-old Spring Hill woman riding a bicycle southbound in the center of the roadway.
The bicyclist suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash.
The FHP did not release the names of the driver or bicyclist involved in the collision.
