Troopers from the Florida Highway Patrol responded to a single-vehicle collision last night in Hernando County that resulted in the death of the driver.
According to the FHP report, at approximately 8:54 pm, a Ford F250, driven by an 18-year-old Webster man, was traveling northbound on US-301, north of SR-50, when the driver lost control of the vehicle along the wet roadway.
The truck rotated to the west shoulder and overturned.
The driver suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash.
The FHP did not release the driver's name involved in the crash.
