Breaking News Overnight: Pedestrian hit and killed by pickup truck in Hillsborough County

Troopers from the Florida Highway Patrol responded to a collision last night in Hillsborough County that resulted in the death of a pedestrian.
According to the FHP report, at approximately 8:15 pm, a Ford F250, driven by a 42-year-old Dover man, was traveling westbound on SR-574.
West of Lindsay Road, a 43-year-old Guatemalan man attempted to walk across the highway.
The pedestrian entered the path of and was struck by the truck. The pedestrian was transported to an area hospital and later died from his injuries.
The FHP did not release the names of the driver or passenger involved in the collision.
