Troopers from the Florida Highway Patrol responded to a single-vehicle collision this morning in Pasco County that resulted in the death of a motorcyclist.
According to the FHP report, at approximately 11:10 am, a Kawasaki motorcycle, operated by a 22-year-old Land O' Lakes man, was traveling eastbound on Bell Lake Road when the rider lost control west of Collier Parkway, struck a curb, then collided with a concrete pole.
The rider suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash.
The FHP did not release the name of the motorcyclist involved in the collision.
