Breaking News Overnight: Single-vehicle collision in Orange County kills pedestrian

Troopers from the Florida Highway Patrol responded to a single-vehicle collision in Orange County last night that resulted in the death of a driver.
According to the FHP report, at approximately 11:27 pm on Tuesday, a 2013 Honda Odyssey driven by a 62-year-old Altamonte Springs woman was traveling northbound on US-441 approaching Stoneybrook Hills Parkway in the outside lane. At the same time, a 62-year-old Astatula man was walking in a westerly direction and entered the northbound lane of US-441 - the direct path of the vehicle and not in a marked crosswalk.
As a result, the vehicle collided with the pedestrian.
The driver was transported to Waterman Hospital with minor injuries.
The pedestrian was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
The FHP did not release the name of the driver or the deceased pedestrian.
