Breaking News Overnight: Single-vehicle collision in Hamilton County kills driver

Troopers from the Florida Highway Patrol responded to a single-vehicle collision last night in Hamilton County that resulted in the driver's death.
According to the FHP report, at approximately 10:25 Sunday, a Jasper Police Department vehicle driven by a 43-year-old Jasper man was traveling northbound on County Road 143. The vehicle struck a deer that was in the roadway. The vehicle then exited the west side of the roadway and struck a tree before catching on fire.
The driver of the vehicle was pronounced deceased on the scene.
The FHP did not release the driver's name involved in the collision.
