Breaking News Overnight: Single-vehicle collision in Brevard County kills passenger

Troopers from the Florida Highway Patrol responded to a single-vehicle collision in Brevard County this morning, resulting in the death of a passenger.
According to the FHP report, at approximately 3:47 am, a 2014 Chevy Camaro driven by a 33-year-old Titusville man and transporting a 34-year-old Rockledge woman was traveling northbound on Interstate 95 in the area of mile marker 207.
For an unknown reason, the driver lost control of the vehicle, ran off the roadway to the right, and struck a tree.
The driver was transported to Rockledge Hospital with minor injuries. The passenger was also transported to Rockledge Hospital and later pronounced deceased.
The crash remains under investigation.
The FHP did not release the names of the driver or passenger involved in the collision.
