Breaking News Overnight: Orlando man dies after a single-vehicle collision

A 2025 Ford Mustang struck a tree and overturned after leaving the roadway early Saturday, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

A 20-year-old Orlando man was killed early Saturday morning in a single-vehicle crash on Landstar Boulevard in Orange County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred at approximately 1:08 am. near the intersection of Landstar Boulevard and Borg Street.

According to the FHP report, the man was driving a 2025 Ford Mustang south on Landstar Boulevard, north of Borg Street, when he failed to negotiate a curve.

The Mustang left the roadway to the left, crossed the northbound lanes and collided with a tree before overturning several times, investigators said.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. FHP reported that he was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.

No other vehicles or occupants were identified in the report.

The crash remains under investigation.
