Troopers from the Florida Highway Patrol responded to a collision this morning in Orange County that resulted in the death of a pedestrian and a driver who fled the scene.

Witnesses described the vehicle as a blue Chevy Malibu and the driver as an adult black male wearing a black hoodie. The vehicle should be missing the driver's side mirror and have front-end damage.

The driver of the first vehicle suffered minor injuries and was not transported to a hospital. The pedestrian was transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center and pronounced deceased.
