A motorcyclist died Saturday after driving off Bill Beck Boulevard and striking a curb and utility pole, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
An adult man died Saturday morning after his motorcycle left the roadway and struck a utility pole in Osceola County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The single-vehicle crash occurred at approximately 8:24 am. near Bill Beck Boulevard and Line Drive.
According to FHP, the man was riding a 2001 Suzuki Katana 750 southbound on Bill Beck Boulevard, approaching Line Drive, when he failed to negotiate a curve.
The motorcycle traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck a curb and utility pole, investigators said.
The rider was transported to Osceola Regional Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead. FHP reported that he was wearing a helmet.
The man’s identity had not been confirmed when the report was issued. The Medical Examiner’s Office will notify FHP after completing the identification process.
The crash remains under investigation.
