78 year old Wesley Chapel motorcyclist crashes and dies on I-75

Troopers from the Florida Highway Patrol responded to a single-vehicle collision Saturday morning, April 19, in Hillsborough County that resulted in the death of a motorcyclist.
According to the FHP report, at approximately 9:00 am a motorcycle driven by a 78-year-old Wesley Chapel man was traveling southbound on I-75, north of Fletcher Avenue. For an unknown reason, the motorcyclist lost control of the motorcycle and collided with a barrier wall along the outside shoulder.
He was pronounced deceased at the crash scene.
The FHP did not release the name of the motorcyclist.
